Public Information and Cooperation With the Professional Community Committee Mission Statement and Functions of the Public Information and Cooperation With the Professional Community Committee 1. To carry the A.A. message to the alcoholic who still suffers, always mindful of the importance of personal anonymity. Members carry the message to the general public, including the media. 2. To help keep the A.A. Fellowship informed of the services this committee performs on behalf of A.A. 3. To provide information about A.A. to those who have contact with alcoholics through their professions, including health care professionals, educators, members of the clergy, lawyers, social workers, union leaders, industrial managers and those working in the field of alcoholism. We provide information about what A.A. can and cannot do, as well as where to find us.
